Stop the bear bile farming now

It is one of the worst human practice against animals ever: bear bile farming. It is the peak of cruelty. The most sadist way of torture, a torture that humans are aware of, but we still allow it.  We are happy of being so-colled inteligent race, the same inteligent race that use very painful invasive techniques to extract the bear´s bile.

 

These beautiful and powerful animals are kept in tiny cages where they cannot move in many years meanwhile they have an iron tube straight to their bladders, no need to say without any anaesthesia or vet control.  Our social shame should be as deep as the agony and pain these animals live in. Would you say to your son or dauther that their dear Teddy Bear is tourtured in such a way? Is this the legacy we want for our offspring?

 

This outrage is even more difficult to understand when you find out that the bile is used for the false belief that is good for erectile disfuntion. But who treats the mental disfuntion of those who buy it?

 

It is necessary  an intensive campaing and educating futures generations in Asia to eradicate these terrible practices. But for these bears we need to start now as well as to save them today. Se trata de una de las peores prácticas humanas que nunca se hayan realizado contra animales: las granjas de bilis de oso. Es la crueldad en su máxima expresión. Una de las formas más sádicas de tortura, una tortura de la que los humanos somos conscientes, pero que todavía seguimos permitiendo que se realice. Nos regocijamos porque nos hacemos llamar la única raza inteligente, una raza tan inteligente que utiliza dolorosas técnicas invasivas para extraer la bilis de los osos.

 

Estos bonitos y poderosos animales son encerrados en unas diminutas jaulas donde no se pueden mover y permanecen en esa penosa situación durante años. Pero ahí no acaba su sufrimiento, ya que se les extrae la bilis sin ningún tipo de anestesia o práctica veterinaria, clavándoles un cateter  de hierro directo a sus entrañas. Nuestra vergüenza social debería ser tan profunda como la agonía y el dolor en el que viven estos animales. Le dirías a tus hijos que su querido Osito Teddy es torturado de esta manera? Es éste el legado que queremos dejar a futuras generaciones?.

 

Esta sinrazón es incluso más difícil de asimilar cuando se descubre que esta tortura se realiza por la falsa creencia de que la bilis de los osos cura la disfunción erectil . Y quien cura la disfunción mental de aquellos que lo compran?.

 

Es necesario realizar una intensiva campaña y educar futuras generaciones de los países asiáticos donde se realiza esta barbarie para erradicar las granjas de bilis de osos.  Pero a los osos que están enjaulados  necesitamos rescatarlos hoy por lo que hay que pararlo ahora.
